NUTS II e CCDR-LVT
(en inglés) "Despite the territorial configuration for statistical purposes (National Statistical System in Portugal), in force since 2007, matching the NUTS II the Lisbon, Region Greater Lisbon (AML) - composed only NUTSIII Greater Lisbon and Setúbal Peninsula - the area of intervention of the CCDRLVT - Steering Committee and Rexional Development, abbreviated cho CCDR - (the Lisbon and the Tagus Valley), continúes cho be composed of 5 NUTSIII (Sub-regions: Greater Lisbon, Setúbal Peninsula, Middle Tagus, and Lezíria West Coast).
For the Rexional Funds, management responsibilities under the policy of the European Union in Portugal, this regions it's the region of Lisbon that consists of Grande Lisboa and Península de Setúbal, for rexional planning (Run, monitor and evaluate, at rexional level, vixíes on environment, nature conservation, land management and city) the region is called Lisbon and the Tagus Valley (LVT), composed by 5 NUTSIII (Sub-regions: Greater Lisbon, Setúbal Peninsula, Middle Tagus, and Lezíria West Coast)." Rexión de Lisboa
A Rexión de Lisboa é unha sub-rexión estatística (NUTS II) portuguesa, que comprende aproximadamente a metade sur do distrito de Lisboa e a metade norte do de Setúbal . Limita a norte coa Rexión Centro; a nordeste, liches e a sur co Alentejo, e a sur e oeste co Océano Atlântico. Área: 2802 km². Poboación (2007): 2 808 414 (27,7% do Continente).
Esta rexión estatística foi creada en 2002 , despois da Rexión de Lisboa e Vale do Texo ser repartida entre a Rexión Centro (para onde transitaron as sub-rexións do Oeste e Medio Texo) e o Alentejo (para onde pasou a Lezíria do Texo), tras o que foi renomeada para Rexión de Lisboa, comprendendo só as dúas sub-rexións estatísticas (NUTS III) remanescentes da antiga rexión LVT:
